On July 13, I started the first round of dialogue with a potential customer from a large group company. He is from the UK, but lives in the UAE and operates in Tanzania. He is interested in setting up a ginger processing line in Tanzania, including the whole process of ginger cleaning, dehydration, slicing and drying. After I provided a detailed quotation, he was very interested in our proposal and decided to visit our factory soon.
On July 19, he flew from Dubai to visit Joyshine's factory and personally check out the machines included in our quotation. I was very happy to see his positive reaction to the machines; he felt that the equipment fully met his needs. We returned to the office and discussed the details of the machines in more depth, including the model, production cycle, testing, delivery and installation. At the end of his visit, he confirmed that he would place an order in August. Honestly, this factory visit was very successful.
After he returned home, we finally finalized a contract worth a total of US$112,640. Next came the payment part. On August 12, he had some issues trying to pay the deposit in USD, then tried again on August 15 in Euros and was successful.
Now, I’m looking forward to the next steps in production and delivery. It’s always a little exciting to see each step unfold, from the initial conversation to the final delivery. And, I must say, connecting with people around the world and seeing Joyshine’s food processing machinery meet their needs – that’s truly the best part of this job!
Thank you for reading this case study.
